Description
Sign posted in the Frank Church Wilderness, Middle Fork of the Salmon River, by Richard Zimmerman, "Dugout Dick." Sign reads: "Ice Caves, Ice is natural by hand made. See my ghost, primitive way of life stories, Be sure you don't miss my tunnel house. Take pictures all you want. $1.00". Dugout Dick was known for digging tunnels and converting them to cabins for rent.
