Description
Doc Roach stands with the winner of the 1957 Miss Sparky competition, Sarah Jane Benson, who is sitting on the front bumper of a fire engine. The Miss Sparky competition was held as a part of Fire Prevention Week activities. A fire prevention poster is mounted to the front of the engine and reads: "Stop Fires - Save Lives - Fire Prevention Week October 6-12."
