    Description
A tragic house fire marred beautiful Warm Springs Avenue on the night of February 17, 1956. The H.B. Eastman mansion, dating from 1892, was beyond saving when the firemen arrived, its three stories with castle-like towers flaming spectacularly. Mrs. Eastman, widow of the pioneer hotel man and banker died in the 27-room house, largest which ever burned in Boise.
