1921 to 1922 (year uncertain)
Arco townspeople look over the edge of the Lost Valley Box Canyon. Limbert's note: "The last end of our trip was an excursion given us by the people of Arco to the famous Box Canyon of Lost River. The river at this point begins to dwindle away and in the space of a few hundred yards entirely disappears. It is thought that it reappears at the Thousand Springs near Hagerman. There is, however, no proof of this."
