Description
Senator Carl Hayden, center, receiving a special tribute from the league of women voters of the United States for being the only person still in Congress who voted for Woman suffarage back in 1919. Idaho was also honored for being the 47th state to allow women to vote. Attending were, in background left to right, Vice President Lyndon B. Johnson, Frank Church, and Senator Henry Dworshak.
