Shirley Giminiani, Potato Bowl Queen, and Pat Dolan, Homecoming Queen, riding through Bakersfield, California, in a convertible promoting the seventh annual Potato bowl game sponsored by the Kern County Shrine Club. That year Boise Junior College played the Compton College Tartars.
