1920 to 1921 (year uncertain)
Robert W. Limbert leads his horse while examining bear tracks in the lava fields. Limbert's caption: "These curious petrified" bear tracks were a source of never failing interest and we always stopped to examine them. In many instances they could be traced for over a mile showing where and how the bear had wandered around as he walked across the ashen plain. I could have taken hundreds of pictures like these and all different had I cared to."
