View of Mount Snowyside, a small lake sits at the bottom left of the photograph. Limbert's note: "Rising to a height of more than ten thousand feet, it is perhaps the most sublime of all the peaks. Mt. Snowyside. The patch of white on the side of the higher peak is the remnant of the mighty glacier which carved out the valley up which we have been traveling. We climbed up the rock slope to the left of the peak in the foreground."
