Homosexual activists disrupt service
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.- Gay activists interrupted a church
service Sunday and showered the congregation with condoms in a
protest aimed at a church member who is a leader of group that
opposes homosexual rights.
A dozen or so people in black leather chanted in unison: "Gays and
lesbians under attack in Colorado Springs. We act up. This is for Will
Perkins. Enjoy your Sunday."
The group then pelted the congregation of the Village Seven
Presbyterian Church with condoms before leaving.
Perkins, one of about 1,000 church members in attendance, is co-
founder of Colorado for Family Values, which won passage last year of
a statewide prohibition on laws protecting homosexuals against
discrimination.
