Description	A view of the motel courtyard and the west end of the Boise State campus through the windows of the Iron Gate lounge on the second floor of the University Inn. In the foreground is the pool for motel guests; in the background is the Towers Hall dormitory. The Iron Gate lounge for decades served as an informal gathering place for Boise State faculty and staff.
Bio/Historical note	The University Inn, at the corner of Capitol Boulevard and University Drive, opened in 1957 as the Thunderbird Lodge; renamed University Inn in 1982. It was acquired by Boise State University in 2006 and demolished four years later to build the Micron College of Business and Economics.
