Boise State University executive vice-president Larry Selland at the ground breaking for an addition to the Canyon County satellite campus of Boise State University. The Canyon County campus later became part of the College of Western Idaho.
An air pressure soda bottle rocket, powered by water and air pressure, takes off in a field by Bronco Stadium. This activity was sponsored by the College of Applied Technology for at-risk youth.
