All petitions for sophomore elections at Boise Junior college were in Friday, said Roche Bush, election chairman. The election will be October 7. Nominee for offices are Max Bell, president; Roche Bush and Virgil Olson, vice president; Kenneth Alpert, secretary; and Clinton Nordquist, teasurer. Norman B. Adkison, psychology and education teacher, has been nominated for faculty adviser to the tribunal. Those running for freshman offices are Ernest Retzlaff and Leland Hart, president; Jay Collins and Arthus Mink, vice president; Cleone Thomas and Phylis McQueen, secretary; and Dorothy Jean Baker, treasurer. Freshman women’s representative to the executive board will either be Elizabeth Buck or Eleanor Ray and the contestants in the men’s race are Gene Frazier and Donald McLeod. A vacancy now exists in the office of student body treasurer. But Trueblood, Bill Faught and Tom Coffin are the three candidates running for the office. A campaign assembly will be held Wednesday at which time all candidates will be introduced. Eleanor Burns will be mistress of ceremonies.
